Our new partnership with Siemens offers an integrated benefit for asset-intensive organisations
Methuen Consulting is proud to announce a new partnership with Siemens, Asset Management Software (formerly Brightly), to help Australian asset-intensive organisations bring software, systems, processes and people together.
The partnership brings together Siemens, Asset Management Software’s scalable asset management platform with Methuen’s specialist asset management expertise, giving organisations a more integrated way to strengthen asset management maturity and long-term performance.
For organisations managing complex asset portfolios, the partnership provides a clearer path from software selection and implementation through to practical use. It means better visibility of asset information, stronger planning and reporting, more confident decision-making, and support to ensure the software becomes part of how people work every day.
Methuen Consulting Managing Director, Jason Crouch, said the partnership reflects a natural alignment between the two organisations.
“We were really impressed with the software, particularly its ability to scale down to a small regional council, then scale up to a large infrastructure client,” Jason said.
“The other standout was their values around client success and adding value to the client. They want clients to get value out of how they manage their assets.”
“They are looking at it more from a software perspective, and we are looking at it from a systems and processes perspective. The two come together really well.”
For Methuen clients, the partnership supports both sides of asset management software adoption: access to a scalable software platform, and the strategic guidance needed to embed it into everyday practice. This helps organisations move beyond having a system in place, towards using that system to improve planning, accountability, service delivery and long-term asset value.
“There are two sides for a client. There is the need for new asset management software, and then there is how we use this software in day-to-day practices and processes and bring people on the journey,” Jason said.
“Methuen can come to it with more of a strategic view as to how the organisation undertakes asset management across the board utilising the software.”
“That means building those internal systems, processes and capability. It brings the people and processes in line with the software, which creates better asset outcomes, better levels of service and better return on investment,” he said.
Blake Gordon, General Manager of Siemens, Asset Management Software in APAC said, “What excites me most about this partnership is how naturally our two organisations complement each other. Siemens brings the technology platform, Methuen brings the specialist knowledge. Together we can offer something genuinely end-to-end for asset-intensive organisations across Australia.”
Jason said the partnership also reinforces Methuen’s view that lasting value comes from how well software, people and processes work together.
“Software very rarely falls over because of the quality of the software. It is how well it is embedded and utilised within the organisation that makes the difference,” he said.
“For us, this partnership is about helping clients make sure the software, people and processes are working together.”
Through the partnership, Methuen and Siemens, Asset Management Software are looking forward to helping organisations improve asset visibility, strengthen planning and reporting, connect strategy with operational practice, and build the internal capability needed to help every asset live its best life.
