Asset Management Strategist / ISO 55001 Framework Specialist

Dan Harries brings more than 20 years’ experience in strategic asset management, risk and infrastructure planning to his role at Methuen.

Across his asset management career, he has led framework implementations, capital works programs, platform projects and multi-disciplinary teams across education, emergency services, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Dan has extensive experience leading the development of ISO 55001-based asset management frameworks, project-managing software platform implementations and stewarding infrastructure, real property, machinery and plant, and vehicle portfolios for organisations including the State Education Department, SA Country Fire Service, Australia’s second-largest NDIS service provider, and a leading Australian university.

His practical capability is grounded in a Built Environment degree in asset management from the University of South Australia, ISO 55001 Asset Management Systems Certification, and ongoing industry contribution through his long-standing membership of the Asset Management Council.

By working closely with executives, boards or government stakeholders, Dan helps organisations find the right balance of safety, compliance, risk and sustainable long-term asset management.
