Project Manager / Construction and Infrastructure Specialist

Danie brings more than 30 years’ experience in construction, project management and infrastructure delivery to his work as SA Sector Manager – Local Government.

With a career spanning civil, industrial and infrastructure sectors in Australia and South Africa, Danie has led construction management, operations, capital projects and project engineering functions. He has managed multi-disciplinary teams, complex project portfolios and regional operations where safety, compliance, cost control and stakeholder confidence must be carefully balanced.

Danie’s experience includes civil construction, structural upgrades, industrial cleaning, asbestos removal, environmental remediation, concrete works, roofing, fabrication and electrical upgrades.

His practical experience is underpinned by a Bachelor of Engineering Technology Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a Management Development Program through the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership in South Africa.

Danie’s grounded project judgement, strong regional delivery experience and a practical understanding of the pressures involved in maintaining and improving community assets make him an asset to the Methuen team and client outcomes.
