Martin Morrison

STATE MANAGER – WA

Mechanical Engineer / Asset Reliability and Lifecycle Strategist

Martin brings more than 15 years’ experience in asset reliability, maintenance strategy and lifecycle planning to his role as State Manager for Western Australia.

He has taken a tier 1 mining company’s multi-site nickel processing operation through the full asset lifecycle — building the maintenance operational readiness packages for capital projects covering more than $150 million of new plant, leading the reliability, structural integrity and fixed plant teams that ran it, and ultimately directing preservation and care and maintenance across five sites to protect asset value through suspended operations. That end-to-end perspective shapes how he advises clients on what an asset will genuinely cost them over its life.

Leading teams of up to 30 people, Martin’s focus has consistently been on giving organisations a clear view of how their assets are performing, where risk is building and what it will take to address it — so leadership can make defensible decisions about maintenance investment and capital renewal.

With a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and training in Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM201) and Apollo Root Cause Analysis facilitation, Martin helps clients in capital-intensive operating environments get out of fire-fighting mode — because reliability and effective maintenance are what unlock an organisation’s full value from its assets.
